GA Hat Company began in 2022 after the pair started making Rule 62 hats for friends in long-term recovery. The message behind Rule 62 — “Don’t take yourself too damn seriously” — is a guiding reminder Patrick has carried through more than 20 years of sobriety. What began as encouragement soon sparked something bigger. Strangers started asking for hats of their own, and Patrick and Sandra realized they had created something special.

Their barn became a workshop, their kitchen table became a design desk, and every hat became a labor of love. Today, each GA Hat Company creation is handcrafted — from the first stitch to the final piece of tape on the box — with care, pride, and a whole lot of Southern hospitality.
