Local beard is the product of 2 beard minded individuals coming together and 2 others coming along with a plan to make the best locally owned and locally produced beard products in the market.

Matt started Chattanooga Beard in 2017 because he knew he could make better beard products than what was out in the market. He did so and more, creating the recipes used for beard balm and beard oils, selling the business in 2022 focusing on Chapel Barber.

Tyler in the meantime took his beard knowledge and started Lucky Six Beard Company in 2023. Tyler focused his product creation on beard butters, a better way to moisturize your beard. He grew this business rapidly and was sold in Elder’s Ace Hardware and many local barber shops. With the creation of Local Beard, Lucky Six has been folded into the Local Beard brand.

Then Jeff and Terry came in to the picture and one afternoon a meeting was held at a local restaurant and the plan was hatched for Local Beard. Creating 6 new scents in the Oils, Balms and Butters. To creating a line of candles that have been heavily requested by our female fans.

Little did we know that this would grow into what it is today. Local Beard offers the best handmade, small batch, locally created beard products. From the Oils, Balms, Butters and Candles, you can be sure that what you are using has the heart and soul of all the Local Beard crew in it.
