Local Beard didn't start in a boardroom. It grew from two Chattanooga beard brands, years of hands-on experience, and four local guys who believed they could build something better together.

Matt started Chattanooga Beard in 2017, developing the beard oil and balm recipes that helped lay the foundation for what would eventually become Local Beard. A few years later, Tyler launched Lucky Six Beard Company, building his own following around beard butter and locally made grooming products.

Then Jeff and Terry joined the conversation. One meeting at a local Chattanooga restaurant turned four different backgrounds and a shared idea into Local Beard.

Today, that same local-first mindset is behind our beard oils, butters, balms, candles and growing lineup of Local Beard products—all handcrafted in small batches right here in Chattanooga.
